Once everything is set, we encourage you to fly into Grande Prairie airport, where you’ll be greeted with open arms and a warm smile, ready to transport you back to the heart of Campbell Land.Settling InUpon arrival, we ensure you have all the essentials for a comfortable stay. From a cozy bunk to a handy water jug, gloves, and safety glasses, we’ve got you covered. We’ll give you a tour of the farm and introduce you to the amazing team you’ll be working with.
After that, we want you to take your time to rest and recover from any jet lag before diving into the exciting work ahead. Easing Into Farm LifeWe understand that adjusting to a new time zone, culture, and language can be challenging. That’s why we start with shorter workdays to help you ease into the routine. English language skills are vital for safety and effective communication, especially when operating equipment. We encourage you to practice before you arrive so you can fully engage and make the most of your time here.
Growing TogetherYou’ll begin with simple tasks to gauge your English comprehension and ability to follow directions. As you demonstrate proficiency, we’ll entrust you with more responsibilities, highlighting the importance of thoroughness and attention to detail in every task, no matter how small.Living Like a LocalWhile you’ll have your own sleeping quarters and common area, meals are a family affair at Campbell Land.
